help needed neighbour has removed chimney breast and our loft wall has collapsed

our neighbour removed his chimney breast 8 months ago and our loft wall collapsed as soon as he had done it. he kept promising to do it but has not done so ,what can we do next as it is obvious he is no good. any help appreciated as i am worried for our safty in the house

Best thing you can do is get in touch with the local council, they’d be the best to advise in situations such as these

I would advise getting a couple roofer or general build to have a look and see what they advise me being a plasterer that doesn't sound safe to me would get it looked at quickly

Hi contact council and they will get building inspector to pay them a visit as it would have been shared load bearing wall
