Valiant Boiler, Megaflo, and Nest installation

Hi all, hope everyone is well! I have a Vaillant ecoTec plus 630 boiler, recently renovated took out the old tanks in loft and everything else that was old has been removed including the old timer for heating and hot water. I got a new MegaFlo and Nest to go with the setup. My question is: Do I still need some kind of time/controller system for the boiler of is the Nest able to control all the heating AND hot water? Different plumbers are telling me different things. Thank you in advance.

The latest Gen of the Nest controls can control both Hot water and Heating. I believe you can turn this feature on by going into the settings on the app and selecting hot water. Regards Cpms Plumbing.

Just read up on it and apparently you can if you have 3rd gen nest learning thermostat installed
