Hi guys, just wondering if there are any good apps or programs which dont take a 4 year university degree to figure out so i can plan my garden with decking pergola and gazebo. Just so i know before i start if it looks ok. Cheers Chris

Yry auto cad design or auto desk inventer, most CAD programs are tricky to learn how to use, but just have a little play around on it and it will become clear after a little while

Hey CNHome Solutions, I think a great product for your requirements would be to use Google Sketchup, its great for quick models - Slight learning curve but very comprehensive tutorials across Youtube. A great feature of this is it has a library of set models covering all aspects - FREE too! It's very valuable software to help get projects signed off and avoid constant changes and miscommunication with customer. We use a similar software here on projects and it helps a great deal. Best of luck (can be learned inside of 2 hours!) Josh Stoer LTD

I use 'sketchup' for a lot of what I do to show customers what I am thinking. It takes a few minutes to get used to but it's great for the basics and there's a lot of really good models you can download for free to add more to any drawings. It works in feet and inches, mm and m measurements. You can design in plan view or at an angle and do cut throughs really easily at the click of a button. You can do walk throughs too and loads more. The only limit I have found to be a bit of a pain is that some of the colours and textures are a bit limited. But otherwise, I recommend it no end!!! It's also free!!! Take the time to go through the tutorials and you will be much faster in using it in the end. Trying to figure out everything without the tutorials will baffle you and frustrate you! www.sketchup.com SketchUp: 3D Design Software | 3D Modelling SketchUp is a premier 3D design software that truly makes 3D modelling for everyone.

Hi try Live Home 3D Pro. Very simple interface and also has a search engine of items to add to your drawings
