Good afternoon,
I wouldn't recommend doing that. You need to know that what your fixing too hasn't rotten or broken down in some way. Also by doing that you could have an issue with your distance between roof tiles and guttering!
Hope that helps.

There’s no reason as to why you can’t but I’d strongly suggest removing and exposing what’s underneath. For all you know the framework your fixing too could be rotten and the additional weight would just rip the old and new down costing you in the long run.

Hi there, this is possible but I wouldn’t advise. For what it’s worth just remove the existing UPVC fascia and soffit so you can see the condition of the material underneath.
Kind Regards
Jamie

You cannot over clad timber but I wouldn’t recommend that myself When everything is taken down you know you are starting from scratch no rotten timber behind anyway

We don’t recommend going over old upvc instead strip all that old stuff off replace any rotten timber and fit all new upvc and a nicer looking finish to you’re property
