Granite worktop over IKEA Kitchen

We are looking to buy a new IKEA kitchen, but don't like their worktops. Can we get a granite worktop fitted over IKEA cabinets? I will be posting a job for the fitting soon. Many thanks! Raj

You don’t have to use the same company for worktops, I never have and have never had an issue

Yes you can get granite or any other worktops to go with your IKEA kitchen no problem. I have just completed a job for a customer who bought IKEA units but wanted different worktops.

Hi, you can fit any worktops as long the kitchen units are well made to support the weight.

Of course. They just need to be fitted correctly and ensure the base units are fixed to the wall, not just relying on plastic feet. They can skip a thread and risk the integrity of the joints on your worktops
