Uneven Fillers in wall

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.40 PM

I removed the wallpaper and filled it using a filler (I did a terrible job). I painted over it using a primer undercoat then i have painted over that using normal paint, but the area is still very lumpy I need help getting rid of the lumps please so i can have a seamless finish after i paint again. What would you advise please?

Scrape filler back pva whole wall and plaster full wall. Pay a plasterer for a good finish.

Remove the filler then use a watered down pva solution on the holes and uneven sections then using bonding coat to fill holes and uneven sections if they are deep then plaster over it or if the holes and unevan sections are not that deep use easy fill then sand it down once its dry and then paint it. Or as stated above skim the full wall that way you ensure a smooth flat finish all over
