Our tradesman pulled out but we paid him £185 for parts

And he hasn't paid it back. What can we do please? Its a lot of money for us. Thanks

Did you get a receipt for you deposit? If not there is not a great deal you could do, however if you did take him to the small claims court or report them to trading standards.we always send a receipt for deposits so the clients can make payment by bacs

I'm sure you've already tried this but it could be worth reaching out and explaining that he has £185 of yours and if you don't return the money that you are going to have to explore your legal options.
