Cooke & Lewis Tahoe 1 Lever Hot & Cold Basin Pillar Tap

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.22 PM

I had this tap fitted in bathroom sink in 2018. The cold water tap has started to leak and the valve needs changing. How do I take tap apart to replace valve? I have all tools needed.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Close the water valve that is connected to the tap. On the handle of the tap, take off the round cap ,you will find a screw, loose the screw and the handle will come off. Then unscrew the middle of the tap (cartridge) and go to the plump centre and buy the same part and fit the same one back in and it should do the job. Hope this helps!
