Bathroom tiles first or fit bath first

Typically, I would fit the bath, then tile down onto it - less chance of water seeping down behind the bath

Always fit the bath first then tile - far better seal against water ingress

Fit the bath in situ first. Apply a mould resistant silicon around the edge of the bath and the wall just below the radius of the top surface. Then apply your tiles to the top edge of the bath.

I would personally set out tiling to leave cuts around the bath to avoid standing in the bath while the bulk of tiling is being done Less chance of damage

Fit the bath first 100%! once fitted it should be filled with water to weigh it down then sealed to the walls before tiling.
