Hole in ceiling after fibreglass fitted on flat roof now leaking.

Had fibreglass roof fitted on dorma roof and hole appeared after couple of weeks year in now and leaks when heavy rain.You can't see hole from top of roof whats causing this please?

Degrading. I would recommend sealing with fiberglass sealant sooner rather than later, and if you want a neater looking repair, you can re top coat the whole roof.

Go down the route of pouring on another topcoat rather than Messing with silicone/mastic etc. Be sure to sand the existing top coat lightly then wipe clean using acetone, then once that’s dry simply paint a new topcoat on. All the best

usually a very small hole or hairline crack within the grp roof, you can get a fibreglass sealant that you paint on to cure the leak, best to paint the whole dorma roof as will look better and will make sure if you have any more cracks that they are covered

best thing to do is get a new roof, fibreglass expands and contracts too much so you will find your chasing your tail looking for leaks all the time
