Clean dust marks of lining paper

Hi I have painted lining paper in the hallway after I had the chimneys removed the walls have patch’s of dust that won’t come off with a fibre cloth. Not sure if should use a wet cloth any suggestions please

If you have the paint still, give it a very light sanding with 120 to 180 grit sandpaper and touch it up with the original paint. Best not to get the lining paper too wet.
