Cement fibreboards wet on the wall side

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.40 PM

Hi. First time questioner so many thanks in advance. I've had my roofline replaced recently but I've noticed after its rains that the cement fibre boards under the verge seem to stay wet along the wall side for some time whilst the outer half of the edges are dry. Is this normal or is it a sign that water is wicking into roof space because the boards are tilted inwards slightly? Or is something else going on? Many thanks

The cement board is tilted towards wall It’s better if you put dry verge cap will solve the problem and will look nice for longer years

Seems to me that water is getting through from above, why else would the boards be wet. It needs to be seen to get accurate diagnosis.
