French windows with stained-glass

How can we replace/repair our dining-room French windows in our 1930s house, without destroying the original stained glass panels? There are 5 panels.

you could call a stain glass specialist he would remove them take them away to be cleaned and repaired if need be or you could have new double glazing with the original glass inset into the new double glazed units which then would be tripple glazed.

You can carefully remove the old window frames leaving the stained glass panels and surrounding frame intact. Once it is removed the frames can be sawn in several places around the glass and carefully taken apart. The leaded lights can be given to a specialist who can reduce and repair if necessary and encapsulate them in double glazed units made to fit your new windows. You can either securely board or single glaze these panels until the new ones are ready to be reinstated. Phil.
