Rear extension for extra bedroom without extending on ground floor

Hi I've been looking to extend my house I'm in need of an extra room I was recently thinking of doing an extension only on the first floor of my house the new extension will be Infront of the bathroom and bathroom will be moved elsewhere in the house . I wanted to know if it is possible to do an extension on my terrace house on the first floor without doing an extension on the ground to as I only need room on first floor .

In short yes anything is possible in construction your extension would be on steel legs on something we call pad foundations the legs are then enclosed in brick to hide the steels. There are several variatons of this but the principal is the same
