How do I find out if I can extend on a property I am in the process of purchasing

Hello, I have just had an offer accepted on a semi detached house in Bracknell, Berkshire. I am buying the house on the assumption that I can build an single store extension to extend the living room and kitchen total extension 8x3m. This will be 2 rooms 4x3m each. I have checked that other houses in the road have done this however I was hoping you could please advise me how I go about getting quotes and making sure this is possible to do the extension before I proceed with the purchase of the property? I have noticed that most other properties that have had an extension are a corner plot and I am a mid terrace. I do have side access however I have no direct road access to the front or back of the property as it is set back 5m from the road with no drive way which I assume brings it's own costs and complications...
