Carpentry or fencing for replacing a shed door and door frame?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.22 PM
I have posted a request under Carpentry & Joinery for tradespeople to contact me about a replacement door and door frame (with mortice lock) for an existing garden shed - but as I have not had any response in the first few hours I wonder if I would have more luck re-posting it under Fencing and/or Gardening / Landscaping? Your views would be welcome, thanks.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The request definitely falls under the carpentry category. I would suspect that no response has been received as the majority of tradesmen are very busy with long waiting lists. Therefore there is little need to dip into My Builder or Rated People Web sites.

Certainly either trade should be experienced enough for this work

Although joinery is correct a small job like this may be better posted under Handyman
