Removing exterior wall of house

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.22 PM

I would like to build an extension on the side of my house. There is only a 3m wide gap and I would still like to access the backgarden so space is tight. Can I remove the original exterior wall and replace with an interior wall so it's just the new exterior wall that is 30cm thick? I've read exterior walls are 30cm thick? This would give me a 2m internal size room, 30cm exterior wall and 70cm gap. Is that possible?

If you need to remove (exchanges ) external wall always book structure engineers to calculate your new loading ,because to sorted structure mistakes will be very expensive later. Thanks
