Need to move drainage for new tarmac drive

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.38 PM

I am doing the groundwork for laying a tarmac drive and we have upvc drainage and gully's (x3) which will need to be raised to the level of what the tarmac would be. I have laid the dolomite and left gaps where the gully are but do I need to physically dig up all the pipework and lift it with a bed of pea gravel (or similar) or can I simply buy a gully extension? Albeit I can't seem to find any online! Appreciate the help.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It sounds like the amount they need to be raised would not be worth it. I would use a heavy duty corrugated ducting for the galley extensions, The correct internal diameter obviously. And cement them in place.

you can get a gully riser from most merchants. otherwise you can just raise the old gully's with a piece of pipe.
