Bathroom extractor fan making grinding noise

My bathroom extractor fan is making a grinding noise when it is switched on,it was fine one minute and then suddenly grinding noise,I have taken cover off and cleaned the fan blades but no difference.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Sounds like the motor bearing has failed. Buy a new fan.

It sounds like the motor bearing is dry / worn and making grinding sound, the only cure is replacement of extractor fan,

If you have checked for any obstruction to the fan blades, and they spin freely by hand when the power is off, then the fan itself must be worn as previous answers.
