Can you render the outside of your house when its cold

My current builder is great at making excuses on why not to turn up to site but this particular question when i read about it i hace a few different answers. Can you use pasterboard the exterior and plaster in cold weather.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You shouldn't use plasterboard on exterior walls. But you can plaster in cold temperatures it just takes more time to set

You can plaster the outside in the cold but realy shouldn't anything under 5 degrees it's just to much hassle to regulate the times of if setting etc and some coloured renders have a minimum application temp as for plasterboard no you can not put them on the outsides you can get different types of external boards like concrete board etc for the outsides of buildings

No If the temperature is below 5°C and falling, this is due to the water starting to crystallize below 5°C, and using plasterboard externally is not good idea,I would recommend render board witch are more suitable for outdoor.

Not if the temperature is to cold it won’t set proper and might prevent it dropping my advice is wait until it get warmer

There are two things i will not do, external rendering in the winter months or in the heat of summer, it wont end well.
As far as using plasterboard outside ( ridiculous ) of course not.
