Underfloor heating and gas pipe

I'm having under floor heating in the kitchen but I'm having a island with gas hob.i want to ask is it OK to run the gas pipe to the island and still have under floor heating .we have 75mm celotex down am am about to do the underfloor heating,but have just picked up we haven't thought about the gas pipe Any help would be appreciated

I am assuming you already have the gas pipe in place below the insulation. I wouldn’t expect you to have any underfloor heating under the island, or under the kitchen cupboards anyway so you are ok on that front.
As for the area around the island, your plumber can increase the gap between the underfloor heating pipes a little to avoid the area directly above the gas pipe without creating a cold zone. Please ask your gas safe engineer on-site too but I would expect the insulation to be more than sufficient to dissipate the heat. Also, the copper pipes carrying your gas will be resilient to mild temperatures differences.
I suspect the buried gas pipe will also have additional insulation around it; a bonus if it does.
