Bricklaying & Repointing

Driveway paving bricks what can I do with them?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.59 PM

Apart from the obvious, build a driveway or patio, can I use driveway bricks to build a small (3/4 brick high) raised garden bed or a small (similar height) wall to sit on? I know they have no 'frog' and are smooth but we have soooo many from an old uneven patio that I was trying to think of what else we could use them for! Many thanks for any help or suggestions.

Don't make the morter to soft when you build with them.

They could be used but wouldn't be as strong as traditional brick

Yes you can. Make sure you use a good quality adhesive (ronafix or similar) in the mortar mix. Good luck. mick,
