Hi can anyone tell me the foundation for a 60f by 14f out building with block 7.n 215

Hi I have been looking the best foundation for an out building 60f by 14f I am a dog breader. in concrete block any advice. Can not be made out of wood it gets destroyed to fast

Hi the foundations will be to building spec and that is 450mm wide and a minimum of 900mm deep with complete trench fill that is acceptable for a 215 wall hope this helps

Concrete base with the edge deeper to take the weight of the walls also you could add some A142 reinforcing mesh for added strength

i would personally look at a rein raft foundation, that way the floorslabs poured at the same time.

Nothing wrong with the full fill option.
I've only used that on sandy ground.
On clay I would use 225mm deep concrete, build up the rest of the way with concrete blicks laid flat .
Off the top of my head I think the full fill concrete is more than twice the expense, but is quicker , pros and cons yeah .
Might need a pump for concrete if access is an issue, more money 🙁
