Safeguarding from slipping tiles
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.41 PM
I have property with natural slate roof installed 6 years back. One of the slate slipped and fallen on ground last year and same thing happened this year again. Luckily no one around both times. I am looking for solution to safeguard from slipping tiles from roof in case if further slipping of slates happen in future. Any advice on feasible solutions will be appreciated.

A roof of only 6 years old should not have slates slipping out but if the person wants peace of mind he could have slate catcher boards fitted to gutter line of roof.

I would be concerned if slates coming off roof after 6 years, did contractors not give you 10 year guarantee ? Failing that a snow / slate guard would prevent possible injury and damage
