House has 1st floor UVPC windows with dummy sashes so all sight lines the same. On ground floor there are no dummy sashes and it looks odd. Can dummy sashes be fitted retrospectively? Windows are deceuninck 2800

Hi, the short answer is no, as two different window profiles are used for a fixed light or a sash. Beware of anybody trying to 'retro fit' a sash as weather proofing may be compromised. Hope this helps...... Johncast Design.
