Dropped tube down toilet

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.41 PM

Hi, Sorry for tmi but I had to do a urine sample for the doctors so did it and then dropped it down the toilet as I was flushing ! It’s seems fine at the moment but I’m paranoid that it may have got stuck at the u bend ? It was 10cm long and 1.6 cm wide ? Will it have flushed no problem or is there a chance it could be stuck? Thanks

There is a possibility it could be stuck but you will have to remove the toilet to check, but also check the drain is flushing through to the nearest manhole and it’s not caused an obstruction.

Hi. You don't have to worry too much, these things happen. In my opinion, for the moment you can not do anything but only observe if the vater continues to discharge normally for a few days, it will probably be shot alone in the curves of the vater and has gone away and will not give you problems. Regards.

I don’t think you need to worry too much in less the water backs up in the pan in the next few weeks.

Think its just a case of wait and see. Will take time to show itself. If you notice things blocking up then call someone out
