K render - things to look out for!
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.21 PM
The rear elevation of my house is currently pebble-dashed. It was done in the late 70's or 80's I think. I am looking to get it rendered with coloured finish like K render. I've never used this product before and don't know what to expect. Any advice re: use for this purpose. Does it go on top of the dashing? Any things to look out for? I'm keen to have a little knowledge before asking people to quote. There's apprx 60m2 over 3 floors. It's in NE london Thanks, Andy

If you our considering going on top of pebble dashing make sure the pebbles are scrape down as much as possible so that you dont have to apply excessive amount of base coat to give you a flatter surface .the base coat... can be ..hp12 k rend base or simply apply rendering sand and cement ,before the k rend is apply
