No you do not have to replace the consumer unit it would come as a recommendation but doesn’t have to be done,

It would depend on the location of the consumer unit, if no signs of thermal damage, I would suggest contacting your local registered electrician who could advise you accordingly & possibly ask him to undertake an EICR.

Doubt it. What you have to have is for the installation to be safe for continued use. Satisfactory or non-satisfactory. You don’t say if you have had an EICR done or not?

Not at all. As long as the installation fully complied with the edition of the published regs when installed a plastic db without any signs of damage will only ever fall under being a “Recommendation” JPEM Services were 100% correct!
