My gas supply in the fire place
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.37 PM
Hi, was wondering if someone could really help me out as I’m struggling. I have a pre cast fire place and the gas supply has been cut off towards the left of the wall a bit further away. I need to get the supply coming out of the fire place. The flooring underneath is concrete. How would I get this done so that gas supply pipe is coming from the inside out

Without actually seeing the job I would imagine a channel would need to be chased out the concrete floor and the pipework taken that way ensuring the pipework is correctly and adequately lagged once tested and all fine re cement over the pipework to bring floor level

As the other engineer has mentioned the work would need looked at first by a engineer, who can then make a decision and suggest a way of running the gas line required.
