Dome fencing panel size from floor to top of curve

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.58 PM

Hello I currently have feather edge dome panels but one needs replacing. The height currently measures 4ft 10 from floor to top of curve. What size panel will I need to replace it with? 6x4 or 6x5? Thanks.

The height listed is the height to the top of the dome, the sides are approx 300mm(12inch) shorter than the top. Following this rule, I would expect the 6 x 4 to work, but I would check when placing the order

It should be classed as a 5 foot high panel.

The height of a dome fence panel is measured at the highest point of the panel so you would need a 6x5 panel to replace a panel that is 4ft 10 inch high.

You definitely need 5ft high panels then use old panel as template to mark on new panel before cutting
