Hikvision doorbell and intercom

I currently have a 4 channel DVR box to accommodate X4 5mp Hikvision dome cameras. To add to that is there away to integrate the Hikvision doorbell and intercom into the 4 channel DVR box. I want to be able to view the doorbell plus 4 cams all in one application rather then 2 separate. Please advise accordingly and thanks in advance đź‘Ť

If your DVR support ip cameras you can add doorbell to DVR just enter doorbell IP address on one of IP camera channel.

No, you will need a NVR rather than a DVR and it will also need its own channel.

New dvr s support, Ip intergration of a few cameras, you would have check model of you’re dvr to be able to do this.

You could integrate them via the hik connect app, the doorbell and intercom wouldn’t record to your DVR but you could view all of them in the same app

Simply use one app. Something like Pro connect. You will access all the cameras however not use the physical hard drive for the doorbell and intercom.

If you only have a 4 channel recorder and you already have 4 cameras don’t see how you can add another device

Some 4 channel Hikvision analogue DVR's allow 4 analogue cams + 1 IP camera. You'd need to check the model number specs first, then go from there. www.facebook.com/Aber-Alarms-Fire-Security-110631717342712

some DVR's you can add IP cameras, you will need to add the IP camera address of the doorbell to DVR & use it as one of IP camera channels.
