Underfloor heating issues

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.58 PM

I had someone install a new underfloor heating with two separate circuits one for the living room and one for the bedroom with separate thermostats. When I switch on only the bedroom thermostat, the living room turns on too (pipes even hotter than bedroom) which is wasting money and ruining my laminate. He has attempted to fix numerous times but failed. Has anyone come across this? Many thanks

Looks like the wiring is wrong in control box.the thermostat from living room should control only living room actuator and bedroom only bedroom actuator

Should be an easy enough fix for a competent heating engineer. Has he fitted the actuator heads to the underfloor heating circuits ? They should be linked to the thermostats in a control panel above where the underfloor manifold is ?
