Replace 575mm height built under gas oven with 710mm gas double oven

I am looking to replace my oven. The height from the floor to the hob is sufficient but there is currently a shelf holding the oven. Can this just be removed or is it more complicated than that. Thankyou I don't have manufacturers instructions but thanks for the input

If you are not GAS SAFE you should not be trying to install a gas oven, have a look on the gas safe register for a local engineer.
