Hiya Your will need to lay the tile on a full bed of sharp sand with a mix ratio of 4-1 or 5-1. You will also meet to use a cement based tanking slurry to be brushed on the underside of the tile just before its layed this will give the tile a goof bonding to the sharp sand bead

Assuming your type 1 150mm is compacted down and solid. I would use a 50-100mm sharp sand/cement semi dry mix to bed the tile. Buy a good quality pre mix adhesive/slurry to spread on back of each tile before laying. Use spacers on porcelain tiles. Hope this helps

You will need to lay the slabs on a bed of mixed sand (not sharp sand as it’s too hard). The mix should be 4 sand with 1 cement. You should also brush the back of the slabs with a little pva to give a better adhesion.

Porcelain is expensive, I would recommend, after hardcore and membrane, sharp sand should be used to make the level, then dry cement should be applied, always watching the level, slurry is too wet for a residential finish in my opinion, and the perspiration from the sun, or dew in the morning will add enough moisture for the cement to adhere
