Anonymous user 13/03/2024 - 2.31 PM
I have had a new kitchen tap installed the spout bit wobbles side to side I have been told this is normal in new taps as they have to give way slightly is that normal?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It is common on new taps. if you go to a magnets for example they sell a longer threaded bar and a small bracket to screw into the woodwork. Hope this helps

Dear Jackie_459,
It is not normal, it seems like the guys did not screwed it properly (no access, wrong tools, etc). This is a first time I have heared that new tap has to move, even slightly.
I would advise to contact the company who did it and asked them to fix it.

Some wobble more than others but it may be that it's not been fixed properly - It's hard to tell from here !
