Bought house 35 years ago the ground floor ceiling had a crack.

Crack on ceiling the shape of original chimney breast. I replaced ceiling to cover original ceiling as house was built in early thirties. This crack has reappeared. Also the lounge has wall removed with RSJ but no paperwork, do not know if beam big enough to do job. The wall is centre wall through house. What advice a figure would you suggest on this sort of job. Thanks A M London.
