Gap between beige Porcelain paving & fencing
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.40 PM
Along the front of the house there's 8m x 1.9m concrete pathway. On the other side is featheredge fencing with gravel boards. Three rows of 600mm x 600mm porcelain slabs have been laid up to the house, leaving a gap near the fence ranging from 12mm at one end & 8mm the other. The owner doesn't want the gap filled with anything that collects dirt like pea gravel or pebbles. They want to be able to sweep the floor & mop it. Suggestions please?

Polished concrete / cement would be the most cost effective and durable option. Masonry paint can be added after if required to match the existing colour of the porcelain slabs.

You could use Easy Grout suitable for gaps 5 to 25mm wide. But needs a minimum depth of 20mm. Just mix with water, this product comes i different colours and has a smooth finish
