HOT WATER TAP IN BATH RUNS COOl IF TURNED

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.37 PM

I have a bath/shower combi. When running the shower it runs full heat, when I switch to bath it runs full heat for 15 secs and then starts running much cooler. This had just started less than a week ago it was working fine before. All other taps run hot when turned on. Thanks for any advice.

It could be the thermostat sticking or gone out of calibration if indeed it's a thermostatic model. Or could just be the tap is allowing a higher volume of water through & your combi can't keep up. Try reducing the flow rate & see how it performs. Another thought is, have you just had your boiler serviced ?
