Central heating pump doesn't run in heating mode but runs when in hot water mode

My Central heating has been in use for over a year now with no issues, but now my Glow-Worm Energy Boiler displays a radiator symbol flashing, the pump in the airing cupboard only runs for Central heating when the controller in the airing cupboard is in hot water mode. Diverter valve and actuator checked and both working ok. Can any one give me an idea on what could be the problem

it`s could be mid position valve stack in hot water mode

It’s probably the motorized valve (zonvalve)

Could be a faulty valve 3 port valve (mid position valve) or 2 port valve (zone valves) depending on what system you have
