Crackling radiator
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.58 PM
I have a radiator that crackles when the heating is on, I originally thought it was the TV above it as it sounds like an electrical sizzle (if that makes sense),can someone tell me if it's the radiator or a fault with the valve (which is the area where the noise seems to be coming from), no noise when the central heating is off.

Sounds like locksheild valve on the radiator is only slightly open, opening it a bit more should sort it
