Boiler pipes hot, but radiators cold

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.39 PM

Hi there, Our Vaillant boiler seems to be working well, however our hot water is only medium warm since weeks and since yesterday our radiators are not getting hot anymore. We also have UFH and very weirdly, one of the 3 circles is getting warm DESPITe th UFH being switched off... A plumber recommended carryring out a power flush for £350 without having been on site...any advise please as I only want to do what is necessary. Thank you

Before power flushing the system make sure heating pump is working fine and all the valves are open.

There's a number of things it could be, some one should carry out fault finding before commencing with a power flush.
