Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.39 PM

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The problem i see is getting the heights correct you can achieve this by fixing 6mm plywood to the wooden floor first then latex up to the plywood

If both the wooden floor and the concrete floor are the same level there is underlay on the market that also acts as a vapour barrier.. The concrete itself should have a vapour barrier beneath it anyway (although this is not always the case especially in old buildings) so if you have no damp issues just a good quality underlay should suffice. No need to ply and add self levelling compound if as I said levels are already okay
