Mains powered under counter lights

Hiya. I have cable goiing from the kitchen light switch to underneath my kitchen cabinets ready for under cabinet lighting. Just not sure if I can buy any under cabinet lights, take the plug off and wire it into the junction box. Thinking something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K2P14X7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Y1NK5XVR31JNSW4DM59A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks

You would need 230V rated lights to do that, bastro, those particular lights are 12V. The plug supplied with it is in fact a 12V LED driver so you cannot cut it off. My suggestion, if you wanted that one, would be to wire up a single socket underneath the wall unit to plug the driver in. The wire from the light switch would need a neutral though and not all light switches have neutrals. You could also just plug it in to a standard socket and use the socket switch to switch it on and off. Hope this helps.
