need internal brick wall soundproof then plaster finish can hear neighbours who do i ask to do the job thanks

Hi, there are a few different options for this. For example you can but sound proofing tiles which is a cheaper fix, otherwise I would recommend getting it for and dabbed, which is probably the best solution.

Line the wall with gyproc 15mm soundbloc plasterboard. Fixed to wall with resilient bar.

It all depends because if you live in a terraced house the brick walls are continued to both floors so the acoustics from next door will be transferred on every floor of your living so you would need to insulate all joining walls and your ceilings for a hundred percent job however if you are satisfied with insulation for just one of your areas than you would be looking at insulating only that ceiling and wall in conjunction, it's quite a big job and l would ask a builder if you can
