Is underfloor Heating worth the bother
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.39 PM
We are looking on a major refurbishment of our kitchen. Our plans would mean we would need to move the radiator and without much wall space, we are considering underfloor heating. I'd prefer a wet system but concerned that the upheaval will be too much. We know we could use an electric system, but worried about the running costs. Any comments or suggestions

Hi, Depending on your floor, if you have wooden floor the only option is electric system. If the floor is concrete material then I would advice you going ahead with the wet system, its much cheaper and the best way to keep your home warm. It might look it is a lot of work, but you can trust me it is the best way to save your money in the future!

Most of the time the more difficult the task will give you the best result, underfloor heating is the best option, the wet system preferably if your looking at running costs.

Have you thought about a vertical radiator? Thanet can provide plenty of heat if you do your research.
