Do I need to apply for planning permission for first-floor extension on side?

I am planning to do a first-floor extension from other first-floor extension that I did back in 2006. But I am not sure if I need a planning permission for it, it's about 7m2. Thanks.

Yes you do need to apply for planning permission and building regulation approval.

For 7 Square m'2 you don't need planning permission
You need only building regulations
