My garden falls towards house can patio fall towards house

Would need to run some drainage along the house

yes you will need to use Aco drains and run them into a soakaway at least 5M from your property. A good installer would notice this before works commence as adding one after your patio is installed would be very difficult. if its a pre existing patio and your looking for a quick fix, consider cutting a channel against the house 100mm wide being sure that the bottom is free draining (ie, if solid concrete it would need to be broken up) then add shingle to improve drainage.

Running acro drains along the house is part of the solution. But the patio should be dug out to run away from the house also. Which will help prevent damp issues.

Dig out and ensure patio drains away from house. Never deliberately invite water toward main structure as long term damp issues may arise

If this can be avoided, please ensure the paving falls away from the property. If this means having a step up at the end of the patio at least you can ensure no future water damage is caused ie. Damp internally.
