How to pick the correct size for hot water cylinder and where to buy?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.18 PM
I am looking to replace a like for like hot water cylinder. I have an vented one with two immersion heaters (one on economy 7) covered in a yellow foam, the size is 125cm tall with a diameter of around 56cm. There is no product information anywhere on the old cylinder so I am a bit unsure what to replace it with. Please could you advise how to figure out the correct size, what make is best and where to buy cylinders without waiting too long for delivery?

Hi
The cylinder size will depend on the size of your property, how many bathrooms you may have, most cylinders you can get next day delivery if not the same day,
Hope this helps

Supporting the customer by finding out what type of system they have, how many people live at the property and how many bathrooms is a good place to start before making an appointment to visit the property to find out if the current system is up to date or suitable for the family
