Economy 7 immersion not working over night

Hi. We have recently had a new electric meter installed and since then (though it could be a coincidence) our night time economy 7 immersion isn't working. There is electricity to the immersion tank as the booster is working and all the E7 storage heaters are working fine on an evening. We have checked the fuse for the E7 immersion and that is fine and nothing has tripped. Could it be the timer as reset or stopped when the electrician turned the mains off? Just seems strange it's only the immersion that isn't working at night now. How can we fix it? Thank you

Sounds like your Immersion Heater Element is dead and needs replacing. Give your Electrician or Plumber a call to arrange to have this replaced. They will need to drain the water in your cylinder to do this.

I would get the thermostat, thermal cut out and element checked, when you use the boost on the timer, if the orange light comes on, but the tank is still not getting hot, then the fault is at the tank
