Phone line cable problem

Hi there, thanks in advance for any help. The phone line that comes from outside our property, up from the ground, runs around my garage door, through the garage in and in to the house. I need to reposition it, as our garage is changing. Can I do this myself? Or shall I get a tradesman in to to help? Thanks, hope everyone is doing alrght, Geoff

Easy job. Think there will be just be 2 wires to connect together. No mains voltage to worry about. You can pick up an external junction box somewhere with 'splice' connectors for the thin network cables. You may want external grade network or bt cable though.
